How do Veet® Ready to Use Wax Strips work?

The Strips, when smoothed onto skin, adhere to the hair shaft (and not the skin). The hair shaft is then removed from the root by the mechanical action of removing the strip from the skin.

How do I get the best results?

Always follow the Directions for Use and Precautions. See Helpful Hints and Beautician Tips on the leaflet. Skin should be clean and dry. Always remove in the opposite direction to the hair growth in one swift movement. Hold the skin taut with one hand and make sure you keep the strip parallel to the skin.

I tried waxing once and had trouble getting the wax off! Is there an easy way to remove wax from the skin if it doesn't come off when you remove the strip or cloth?

Veet® wax strips are resin based and not water rinsable. Remove residue of wax using a Perfect Finish wipe from the box. Alternatively, use cotton wool soaked in baby oil or body oil.

Are the Veet Wax Strips suitable for everyone?

Waxing in general is not suitable for the elderly or diabetics, and though suitable for pregnant women, may cause bruising. Certain areas of the body should only be waxed if you have previous waxing experience. See the Precautions and Direction for Use Leaflet for further information. It is advisable for children under 16 to be supervised by an adult when using any depilatory method.

Do Veet Wax Strips give me the same results as Halawa?

Veet Wax Strips are even more effective than halawa as they even remove short hair (as of 2mm) that halawa can not remove. They also exfoliate by removing the first layer of the skin.

Because they are Ready to Use; All it takes is just a few seconds to warm the strips between your palms, apply it and remove it!

How many Strips do I need for one full body hair removal?

One pack of Veet Wax Strips (20 Strips) are enough to do one full body hair removal. The Veet Wax Strips are re-usable. Once you have removed a layer of wax you can use the strip up to 5 times to remove hairs. Continue to use until the wax loses its stickiness. Two used strips can be struck together and warmed between your palms to re-use them again.
